There is a gale due in from the east tonight (15th August) so Dodo's Delight is heading for Barter Island to find shelter and a wifi signal but hopefully not polar bears.

Richard, Did you advise your 'ghost' writer what a GALE is? And why do you need a "ghost' writer? You are the person on the voyage - not a 'chost' writer - people want the real Northwest Passage - not pictures from google image - how about exercising your own fingers on your own keyboard?

Doug, Thanks for your interest and your earlier e mails. Unless I have localised internet connections it is a lower cost for me to have the grateful help of someone else in the UK to update from e mails I send them. The same is true of images - mine will be sent when I have land based internet access, therefore if I send text and the blog is updated library photos may be used... and captioned as such. I appreciate all your comments, and critisim, but suggest that if you find this blog not to your fancy you look elsewhere to spend your time. Please don't take this any other way. We don't know one another and therefore I have no idea of your intentions. Yours Richard
